Dr. Paul Chappell has served as the senior pastor of Lancaster Baptist Church in Lancaster, California, since 1986 and is the president and founder of West Coast Baptist College. Through his leadership, Lancaster Baptist Church has grown into a thriving ministry with a heart to train leaders and advance the gospel worldwide.
As a teenager, Dr. Chappell lived in Seoul, South Korea, where he completed high school. During this formative time, God gave him a lasting burden for the people of Asia and a vision to see the gospel advanced throughout the region.
For over two decades, Dr. Chappell and Lancaster Baptist Church have hosted Spiritual Leadership Conference Asia, bringing together pastors, missionaries, and Christian workers from across the 10/40 Window for preaching, training, and gospel outreach. Through these conferences, many have surrendered to God’s call to ministry in the 10/40 Window, and countless Christian leaders have been encouraged and equipped to strengthen local churches and reach their communities with the gospel.
Dr. Chappell and his wife, Terrie, have four married children who are all serving the Lord in ministry. Together they continue to labor for the advancement of the gospel and the training of the next generation of Christian leaders.
